Things happened quite a while ago, just some notes here for my future self and possibly others:
My internet is currently provided by Deutsche Telekom Glasfaser (600/300) and my router is a Ubiquiti Unifi UDMP (Dream Machine Pro). The UDMP has an SFP+ slot for WAN connectivity and the Luleey GPON SFPs are reportedly compatible with Deutsche Telekom Glasfaser and the UDMP.
To access the WebUI of the SFP with my browser I implemented the scripts and service as described here (I learned that newer Unifi Gateways (like the Cloud Gateway Fiber) do not necessarily bring the necessary MACVLAN kernel module, so no WebUI or SSH access to the SFP through this script)
The fiber is is installed by DT and terminates in a “Glasfaser-Dose” which has an LC APC connector. I ordered my own cable to route through my apartment
Elfcam® – 15m LWL Glasfaser-Kabel Simplex LC/APC 8° zu LC/APC 8° Stecker, 9/125µm OS2 Patchkabel LSZH, FTTH Lichtwellenleiter, Weiß (15M)
which would be able to connect to DT “Glasfaser-Modem 2” (which I also bought in case I need to troubleshoot with DT support without discussing my unsupported equipment)
Since the Luleey has a SP/UPC connector I also ordered
Elfcam® – 1m LWL Glasfaser-Kabel LC/APC auf SC/UPC Stecker, Simplex 9/125?m OS2 Patchkabel, Lichtwellenleiter LSZH (1M) and
EMSECKO LC/APC auf LC/APC Trägerklasse Singlemode Glasfaser-Adapter für Netzwerkverbindungen
to be able to connect to the SC/UPC connector of the Luleey SFP.
